The Screening

On Friday The 18th we had our official private screening of the project to an audience of around 75 people. The Screening was a major success, everyone who came up to me that night had something great to say about it. I did not here a single bad review of the product and the mood was very happy.

Surprisingly one person who came up to me managed to understand everything about what the film meant without us telling them what the intention of the animations design was. They said to me that they related to the film as they themselves understood Pavo's anxiety. They also noticed that Betty was designed like a goldfish which was what her colour scheme was based off.

It was very exciting to see so man people enjoy the film. It makes me proud that all of us, my classmates, could pull this off. The last couple of weeks working on the project was quite stressful. Probably the most stressed out that I've been in a while. But we did it. I've always said we would finish it and here it is finished.

Side note. The food at the viewing was excellent. Bean and Zeta did an excellent job setting up the event.

It was a shame that the advertisement for the film was mostly last minute, (In the last week). But we still had a lot of people turn up so I guess one week was enough. 

The Next time we will see this film in action is on Think and Create night. Hopefully after that the film can go to film events around the country. If people really like the film now wait till a larger audience sees it. It could get some good recognition.
